ADD-DROP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Add-drop period ends on the date shown on the calendar. Click on “CALENDAR”, this page.

2. Students with at schedule conflict will have priority in add-drop only during the Assessment Period on the semester calendar. All other class changes can be requested between the end of this period and the add-drop deadline.

3. All course changes must first be approved by Prof.Eliseo Valle. To check his office hours, click on "OFFICE HOURS", this page.

4. Admission to a new class will only be allowed if you can hand the professor the admission slip given you when you change your registration.

5.IMPORTANT: See "ACADEMIC INFORMATION" in the Student Handbook regarding handing in the Registration Form for the UVA School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

DEADLINES FOR TIMELY WITHDRAWAL FROM A COURSE AFTER ADD-DROP

A student wishing to withdraw from a course after the add-drop period for the term, must express this is writing to the Academic Director.

In winter terms, this deadline will be 30 calendar days before the end of the class period, excluding the final exam.

In summer sessions, the deadline will be at 3p.m. on the second day after the midterm exam.

The transcript in these cases will show “W” as the grade for the course.  Any later withdraws will incur in an F(0) for the course in question.
