WALKING TOUR JANUARY 18, 2012
Most of Valencia's historical monuments dating from Valencia's golden years, 13th-15th C. are located in today's Old Town. We're going to take stroll
through the narrow streets, small squares and become acquainted with today's historical downtown area:
Exteriors: Plaza de la Virgen, the Cathedral, the Basilica, Central Market.
There is no charge for this activity.

Meet at the "Puerta de los Hierros" of the Cathedral, in the Plaza de la Reina. at 4:00 p.m.

NEW DATE! LLADRO MUSEUM FEBRUARY 10, 2012
We will visit the “City of Porcelain” of the famous company Lladro, with its handcrafted porcelain figurines. After the guided tour, if you’re interested in buying you can do so at the shop located on the grounds. Also you can buy seconds at a shop nearby.
The cost of this trip will be the public transportation roundtrip (mobilis valid).
Minimum 10, máximum 25 people.

OCEANOGRAPHIC PARK FEBRUARY 18 , 2012
We'll start off with a guided tour of the outside of the "Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias" to get an overall view of this important structural feat of the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava.
Then, within this same complex, we'll visit the Oceanographic Park, the largest of its kind in Europe.
See the pavilions on: Wetlands, Mediterranean, The Arctic, The Antarctic, the Tropics, the Dolphin pool.
There we will get to “immerse” to the depths of all the oceans of the world, from the Arctic Ocean to the Antarctic, passing through the temperate and tropical latitudes of the Atlantic, the Pacific and the Indian Oceans

CIUDAD FALLERA FEBRUARY 24, 2012
We’ll visit the area of the city, where artists work year round making figures for “Las Fallas”, the most popular festival in Valencia. We’ll visit the museum where we’ll see “ninots indultats”, figures that have been saved from the flames. We’ll also see workshops that make figures for wax museums, Paris Disney, and for the New Orleans Mardi Gras!
PRICE: 2,50 € for museum admission. Transportation not included (mobilis valid).

COOKING CLASSES MARCH 30, 2012
Time: 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Students will learn how to prepare typical and varied recipes such as:
Valencian paella or Arroz a banda (Seafood Rice), Tapas and Horchata custard.

VISIT OF THE L’ALMOINA MUSEUM + MASCLETÁ MARCH 2, 2012
Come along with us to see the remains of the Roman settlement of Valentium, 2nd Century B.C. L’Almoina is a fantastic place that builds on the stones of original archeological site with virtual artists conceptions of ancient Valencia.
