PhD in philology from the Universitat de València. She has been teaching in the UVA Hispanic Studies Program since 1997, was Academic Advisor from 2003-2005, and has been Coordinator for the Area of Language/Linguistics since 2006. She is a professor at the Universidad Católica de Valencia “San Vicente Mártir”, and visiting professor at the University of Virginia (Charlottesville). Among her most recent works: “Función del profesor en el ámbito de la motivación”, Lenguaje político y lenguaje políticamente correcto en España, and Manual de supervivencia, textbook written in collaboration with other Program professors.
